CHERA was founded with the vision of bringing together scholars, researchers, and postgraduate students passionate about higher education research in Asia.
Since its inception, CHERA has become a leading platform for scholarly exchange, hosting numerous research seminars, fostering international collaborations, and amplifying diverse voices in higher education research. We are dedicated to supporting emerging scholars, building research networks, and promoting innovative insights in this field.
Our core objectives include:
- Promoting international research and collaboration on the challenges facing higher education in Asia.
- Providing evidence-based research to inform national governments and development agencies.
- Strengthening research cooperation across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
- Building a robust network of higher education research centers and associations across China and the broader Asian region.
As a global leader in higher education research, CHERA continues to foster meaningful dialogue and innovative ideas that shape the future of higher education. We invite you to explore our work, participate in our activities, and contribute to the ongoing efforts to advance higher education across Asia and beyond.
